The North Carolina Lions Search Committee has ended its task and the candidate selected to fill the position of Executive Administrator is PDG W. Durden Dean formerly Executive Director of the Alabama Lions Sight Conservation Association. PDG Durden now resides in Mooresville with his wife Kathy and brings with him a vast amount of experience within the non-profit industry as well as municipal, business and political work. Before joining Alabama Lions Sight he was the Development Director for The Habitat for Humanity’s Montgomery, Alabama location and the Executive Director for the South East YWCA in Montgomery, Alabama. He was also a business owner for more than seventeen years and served as Mayor of Union Springs, Alabama for eight years.

Administrator Durden will be a great fit for the Lions of North Carolina and will replace Interim Executive Director Carlton Metts of New Bern. Administrator Dean is to lead the overall operations and supervise the staff team that delivers all programs and services of NCLI. The Executive Administrator is responsible for working with and adhering to strategies set by the NCLI Board of Directors.
